MK55
The bowlers that have impressed me this season (so far) have been Prasidh and Umran. Prasidh has found some aggression and thats a required trait for fast bowlers. It plays on the psyche of the batsmen affecting their focus. Also, the bowler is then charged up to get back at the batsmen the next delivery after he gets hit. Even Siraj became more effective last year when he became more agressive. Siraj has been disappointing so far. No impact. Bumrah hasn't got wickets but he bowled pretty well today especially at the death. I'm not worried about his form at all. He just needs to be well rested so that he's fresh. They should probably give him some days off now that MI is totally out of contention. I expect the selection to be Natarajan, BK, PRasidh, Bumrah although I would want Bumrah, Prasidh, Umran, Natarajan. They shoudn;t waste too much time on Umran and get him in the team asap. For test match selection, I can understand as his body needs to get accustomed to that kind of workload but not for LOIs. Even Steyn has said, they shouldn't make him wait too much. Nattu and Khaleel should be in the mix since they both offer something different than the norm. I would still have one trundler in the squad who can bat like Deepak C (PP specialist) or Harshal (death over specialist) express bowling and Mosher

That would be some sight. So far he has been poor in first class but that's on shitty patta pitches. Remember he hasn't learnt reverse swing etc and all the other tricks. Clarke
Bumrah Natarajan Arshdeep as our frontline; Prasidh as the attacking option. Would that be ok with the selectors, if they can overcome the under/non performing trundler quota ?

Leg spinner is there. But certain pitches and certain oppositions may need 3 proper quick bowlers too. maniac
Best new ball options Chahar Shami Umesh Bhuvi (on reputation) Siraj Sundar Ashwin Prasidh (has been ok in the death as well) Best Middle over bowling options Harshal Umran Thakur Chahal Kuldeep Axar Best Death bowling options Bumrah Natarajan Now that’s where you start building. Ankit_sharma03
Max have one guy who is a one phase bowler that to like Umran who can be an X factor Jadeja unfortunaely will be in XI and he is a one phase bowler that too very below avg Best is if we can have one spinner who can bowl in PP. If 2 nothing better then that 2 Fast bowlers shud be strong all 3 phase bowler or atleast 2 phase bowler or may one can be all phase and another 2 phase

While he is a prospect he is still a way away. I alloted only one position based on their best strength to each bowler as you can see. Bumrah is obviously better than Thakur in middle, that’s not the point. Looking at the bowling pool, assigning it by their strengths. have also left out allrounders Jadeja and Pandya. added Prasidh Edited April 29 by maniac

DarkProfile
Bowlers like D Chahar will be chewed and spat out in Australia. Don't understand the obsession with this guy. At best, he can be a back-up for Pandya. express bowling and Suhaan
