Captaincy of national team shouldn't be given to someone who has given up on test cricket.

T20 khila lo use.

Vaise bhi he'll have no legacy.

He will never captain test side as he won't be regular there

But t20 cricket is all about who is good 'currently' ,if he continues like this in next IPL there is no harm in giving captaincy of t20 side against to someone like Pant,KL,Iyer(who is not even a t20 player but somehow sneaks in)

Would love to see Sir Don Pandya take on Eoin Morgan, a battle of two great minds

There is only one winner there. And his name ain't Morgan.

Pandya is far too mentally strong compared to fail as captain.

Wish he could play tests too.

Captain Morgan has changed Eng’s fortunes & Eng is one of the favs for the upcoming WC

India tends to struggle at World Cups when captained by someone from South:

* Azhar - 90s (even messed up the SF at home in 1996)

* Dravid - 2007 (lost to BD)

* Rohit - if he is considered from the South, God bless India

Myopic mentality like his master kohli. Sorry cuckli. If allowed to fester india would be competing with bangla toygers. Lucky for us we have a management that is a tad smarter than a circus monkey which is the level of kohli and his tards.

Eoin Morgan isn't selected in tests,  that's very different from retiring from tests at the age of 26.

Morgan doesn't have the game for tests, Hardik does.

That's because he doesn't have the fitness to bowl 10-15 overs in a day in test match and his batting isn't good enough to merit a place in first XI of test team. Shardul, Jadeja, Sundar all three have taken over. So, it is not like he doesn't want to play tests but just that he doesn't merit a place based on team combinations.

Let him focus on ODIs or T20s only. Rather than being master of all trades, let's hope that he becomes a jack in one. Avi to ODIs me hi uska fitness ka pata nahi ki 6-7 overs regularly daal paega ya nahi.

nah, he actively gave up on tests by not playing FCs. He also said in several interviews that he isn't interested in playing tests. it is a similar situation.

besides, I wouldn't count out a return to longer formats from hardik if his body can handle it
