Why new lol. Drop Rohit if you want to enforce fitness.

You have to phase out the existing ones and not let new come in.

I am so frustrated of him throwing away his wickets,he needs to realise that we are carrying many passengers in the team.

You are talking about a guy averaging 60.

he could average way more if he cut down on bad sots.

I know. But he got 700 runs in England series primarily because of attacking ability. His false shot percentage was higher than Jurel and Gill but he scored way higher because of his higher attacking percentage.

Scores double tons for fun in hot conditions, thats fit enough.

I used to be sceptical of Sarfaraz's success due to his apparent lack of fitness and some unimpressive performances in a few A games. I questioned his physical stamina and mental readiness for the big stage. But the guy shut me up with his performances against England. I am glad he got this chance again. There is no reason to drop him now - he has earned his place. It is possible to keep him in the Indian team, let him keep scoring runs and simultaneously keep working on his fitness.

Expectations are high with him.

Such shots will obviously cause some disappointments. There is no question on his talent and skill though.

It's a testament to the guy's talent that such a performance seems a huge letdown. He should've bedded in today and scored a daddy hundred. It was there for the taking for him.

Has to take calculated risks. Today he charged early and Ajaz changed his length.

Will get smarter

Lesson learned, I am sure. He is smart enough to learn from it - he just seems like that kind of thinking cricketer. What a gem of a player and person.

Hoping Sarfraz scores big 100.I would love to see him bat number 5 in Australia.

He'll have opportunity in first Test as Rohit will miss

This should be batting order.

will put KL at 3, rest order same as normal.

KL has been an opener so should be okay there
