Sarfaraz Khan

I like to see his brother Musheer khan. He looks more organized.    Smaran i have not seen before. Many are raving about him. So would be nice to see him having a go.  Yash Rathod is another guy i would like to see.

The red ball version of Kedar Jadhav. As Gavaskar used to say a million times more of a “street smart player”. Won’t do well against express pace or on SENA conditions but a good stop-gap or backup player in home conditions.

 

To be honest he can smash spinners like Harmer, Maharaj all day or even the medium pace allrounders but feel he would have been a sitting duck against Jansens short ball. 
 

that brings me back to the question, it’s a crisis if we don’t have better options than Sarfaraz and Karun Nair

That is the job of selectors. GO and visit domestic matches and do an eye testing of these players. THen invite all these guys for trial. Examine them with various challenges. THen select them.

But Musheer like Sarfraz has to prove himself beyond a reasonable doubt. Both of them are not the peerless KL or the man Gill to..... well you get the point.

Sarfaraz is playing well in SMAT. If he continues this and plays well in IPL, the selectors can bring him back to the test team based on T20 performance.

I am comparing Musheer with Sarfraz. Musheer's technique looks a lot tighter.  Sarfarz is  loose with a lot of airy fairy shots.

Well for IPL it is the Chennai team.That is the Thala world and depends on whether he is in the Thala approved list......
