Arfa, theWire will definitely say these election results show that the aura of Modi is diminishing and he is going to be decimated by RaGa in 2034 elections

Well can we all acknowledge how brilliant India's largest party is in course correcting. Boss has taken back seat. Electorates have responded. RSS back in fold. Rise of state leaders.

Jharkhand could have been won had they not sent Soren to jail. BJP had swept LS polls there. Soren is not Kejriwal, he's well respected among the Jharkhand tribal community. Got a lot of sympathy.

Yeah but I think it's alright to let this one to go opposition. In a way I am happier to keep the opposition alive somewhere.

That's the benefit of being Cadre driven and not having nepotistic deadweights at the top levels. BJP still needs to improve its narrative building and online game. It has lots of powerful foreign enemies.

the loser in Indian politics is India the country.this kind of freebie politics is unsustainable.you cannot turn off the freebie tap and parties will promise more and more every election and we are hurtling towards a collapse like Venezuela and we dont even have their amazing natural resources.

1. 1500/- pm is not too much. I had given this feedback to most BJP states in June, most likely they would have incorporated this regardless, they reaped the rewards in Maharashtra, haryana.

2. Traditionally women have been exploited in our society, this gives them safety and insurance for sustaining themselves.

3. If you give this money to men, chances are they will spend it in daaru(Nasha), satta etc. But when you give to women you are assured more or less that it will go into their family, children etc.

I think Udhav camp could completely fold in coming days.

I think I can read his mind atm... him n Aditya would be hoping that Aditya loses so that he doesn't have to face big NDA in state assembly. Aditya doesn't have it in him.

Karnataka and Maharashtra are not the same. Karnataka has gone into deficit. And depends also on the nature of freebie. This is still largely poor country.

politicians dont care are about debt,AP and Telangana are deeply in debt already and yet we are seeing more and more freebies, imo we already passed the tipping point of the runaway freebies.only a drastic SC intervention will stop this madness.

Totally agree with you mate. Just saying the math is important. We also need to lift a massive majority of population. So it's nature of support. How much how little. How are you going to fund it. All factors go in. TN for instance is as much a freebie economy as aby in the world. But they found a way to make the model work.

Fadnavis should be next bjp chief. The man has turned the politics of the most critical financial state upside down in 10 years. Took over as an unknown riding the Modi wave in 2014. Had to fight off Gadkari faction and vicious SS ally for 5 years. Won 2019 but was stabbed by SS. Had to sit in opposition for 3 years. Had to break SS and then handle mess of forming govt and demoting himself to deputy pm. In 2024, loses lok sabha election and all his decisions are questioned. In 5 months, he wins the biggest mandate for any party in decades and almost getting BJP majority on its own.

Incredible stuff. Man is legend and will play critical role nationally.

Also Shinde has left his mark in unassuming approach.
