Our army would be chasing their tails vs the populace there which is completely pro-Pak. Pakistan calls it Azad Kashmir for a reason. Deep down in their heart, every Pakistani startegic affairs expert knows that one day India will come for it . Congress passed unanimous resolution in parliament to retrieve PoK in event of Pakistani army does excesses in poK and Narsimha Rao ji, So Indian intention o get PoK has support across party line. A nuclear war will finish Pakistan for good. Not only that, Most likely UN will end up disarming all Muslim nations as well. Now question is, Will Punjabis and Pakistanis risk their existence for sake of these so called Azad Kashmiris who allmost all of themselves have left that land for UK and EU ? IMO, War will be only faught in Kashmir. Point is can Indian army and diplomacy afford a war in Kashmir or shall we wait few more years to make the gap between two nation wider while further reduce the gap between India and China.
