SKY has been seriously impressive (with some minor caveats) in both T20s and ODIs in the chances he got. given that world over, we have bowling friendly pitches in tests, tuk-tukers aren't going to work as effectively any more. bazball will become more prevalent IMO. there's a case to consider SKY for tests too

Not bowling friendly at all. More teams have chased big totals since 2018. It starts off bowling friendly and then becomes flatter and flatter as days progress. Poms and saffers are up to no good. Who knows? They may have flattened it when they know their team has to bat last the night before lol.

I never recall roller effect having that much of an effect om the pitch until around 2019 and later.

all the more reason to get SKY on flat pitches; can be useful in scoring quick runs

Need him to be a finisher. Enough of this opening business . There are roles in T20 and he is an established finisher in T20s. He looks uncomfortable in the opening role.

SKY should bat at 3 or 4. He is the only Indian batsman who can score at 150+ strike rate even when there are more than 2-3 fielders outside the circles.

Cricket as a sport is only played with interest by indians bangladeshis Pakistanis rest eng like playing vs aus. Good thing is Indian fans deserve this sport. Very suitable match anywhere in the world india involved in the tournament you will only see Indians in audience we are too numerous lol. Everyone is running  away except bangaladeesh who are also numerous.. eventually Bangladeesh and India will play amoung themselves..lulz

Finisher is DK. SKY can come in at 4 to help maintain the run rate after end of power play.

Only gripe. We wasted 5 years. Should have been picked in 2018. List of players picked before him  includes Shivam Dube and Vijay 3 D Shanker. On top of that we gave 40 matches to Sir Manish Pandey but SKY did not get a nod.

It is safe to say that SKY has closed the doors for Manish Pandey from entering into T20I team.

It is hard to see Manish finding his way up than SKY.

Some alleged discipline issues.  Who knows if they were real or made up?  He just seems the kind of guy who doesn't give a flying eff about anyone and their seniority ... and may have asked a bhuDDA senior to shove it.

Someone has stolen the keys of the National Treasure which has been looted on 2 out of 2 occasions in a span of just one week by the same set of robbers.      (Once Rohit and KL had laid a solid platform, all he needed to do was bat sensibly.  But he batted like a moron.   His dismissal last Sunday looked even worse.  Resembled a tail ender, TBH)

I don't want to criticize anyone personally here.   But pre-mature threads like this should be avoided in future. It is for the sake of ICF.   One good inning(that too on a lost cause) vs a weak English bowling attack.  And this thread comes up.
