Atleast like 10-6 is somewhat understandable if they have an overall h2h superior to us but this is a God awful record. Even if we are 50 30 in bikaterals, I would give a damn if the icc record says 16-1. Bilateral wins are basically friendlies. It's like a coppa italia A fa cup A fodder copy del ray cup type format. Icc world cup is like champions league. The H2H reflects a bygone era from 2-3 decades ago. It's like WI thumping their chest about better H2H record against us... nobody cares. Time has moved on. It's about ICC tourneys, IPL and the series against Aus and Eng. What do you even gain with the H2H record in this day and age? Edited June 24, 2024 by Ultimate_Game

Only in tests, Windies tally is higher. Edited June 24, 2024 by Frustrated

What do you even gain with the H2H record in this day and age? Ask any pommy. Always will gloat about that 2012 test series win in India. Pieterson etc Vaughan too. That's their greatest victory along with the ashes. Infact winning that series in 2012 was seen as a greater achievement at the time. I am just saying bilaterals don't mean crap. It's like masters in tennis. No one cares how many masters titles you win. How many grand slams have you won??? Indi have thrashed Pakistan like 15 -1 or 16-1 in grand slam equivalent events Pak only won in bilaterals equivalent of masters which is a lower tier tourney that no one really gives any attention to. It's like 30 22 now In 5 years I think it will be gone for w.indies I dont recall them even winning a test match for a long time. Soon we should overtake SA as well. It's 17 15 I believe. Good luck to them when they tour India. Would be a bloodbath. Only one we will find hard to catch is England who secured plenty of weak wins in amateur era that no one cares about in 60s and 50s. Also Australia did the same. Although with Aussies i think it's a lot closer now. 42 32 I think. But we have won more bg series. Edited June 24, 2024 by Kron
maniac Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 Cummins can go for 30 run overs but there will be one wicket or a couple of deliveries in there that will be a game changer. Clutch player. Always a threat

He came in and scored at nearly 200 SR today against a full strength Ozzie attack. If every one in our top order made 30-40 in 15-20 balls, it would serve the team well.
Ravi_Shastri Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 Surprisingly good innings from sky. I was expecting a 12 ball 10 from him as Cummins knows his weakness. Short cutters at shoulder height outside offstump on these sluggish wickets... Good knock from World No 1 Batter Frustrated and Kron 2

nevada Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 I thought he played well yesterday. Ended up playing a cameo, but it was helpful in keeping the momentum and run rate of 10.
vvvslaxman Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 He took a good catch. On the field provides reasonable energy.

vvvslaxman Posted June 27, 2024 Posted June 27, 2024 He is an X factor player. You should back him always in T20. We were a bit harsh on him because of his failures against a certain green minnow team. You don't back players when he has obvious weaknesses like Dube.
