Some bounce at MCG, he screws up as well. Is pancake pitches all you're good for ? I have always been skeptical about his batting abilities since I learnt that he is the only batsman in the world to make a T20 debut at the age of 32. If he is so talented (360 degree), WTH was he doing all these years? Link to comment
cricketfan28
He will bounce back strongly against Bangladesh. ravishingravi and Frustrated 2 Link to comment

Lord
Got a good one. Not too worried Infact liked his intent to put pressure back on the opposition Laaloo, nevada and Vk1 3 Link to comment
Bigg Brother
Got a good one today..That ball really climbed up at fiery pace... Showed intent as soon as came to bat after that lethargic start by Rohit-KLR. Can snatch away match from opposition on his day.. BacktoCricaddict, Lord, Laaloo and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment
Vk1
I feel that he might be playing for his reputation something that Viru used to do a lot in ODIs ( reason why he didn't do as well as in tests ).. SKY has to recalibrate while chasing scores <165.. trying to be positive is good but also make sure that we preserve wickets when target is not huge.. I won't mind that shot while chasing 180+ Gollum 1 Link to comment

SM2907
Hit or get out. I think that approach is fine in this version of the game with pandya dk ashwin to follow in batting Link to comment
Gollum
Like his attitude and playing style, but about time he fires in a key game. 2021 T20 WC, Asia Cup last month, now this opening fixture. He has mostly fired against minnows and second string attacks in inconsequential games. Time running out, he isn't spring chicken. Clarke, Frustrated and Laaloo 1 1 1 Link to comment
Gollum
Not entirely convinced about his game on Aus decks, against 140+ attacks, hard lengths etc.....hope he proves me wrong. Link to comment
Gollum
2021 T20 WC vs Pak Dubai 11(8) 2022 Asia Cup vs Pak 18(18), Naseem too fast for him vs Pak 13(10) vs Lanka 34(29) knock where Rohit was going at 175 SR for his 70 odd 2022 T20 WC vs Pak 15(10) and for some ICFers this is acceptable!!! nevada
Deserves an A for attitude. Doesn't ever look to shut shop and tuk tuk no matter how dire the scorecard is. Ad jingle: Open with Surya #3 bhi Surya #4 toh Surya Finisher bhi Surya Har sawaal ka jawaab .... SURYA!! Friends, this may or may not last, but right now, the guy is killing it. Not because of his body language, but because he is in immaculate form. And when he loses form in 2 - 3 years, we should thank him for his services, celebrate him for his achievements and sunset his place in the team unless he comes back with a vengeance. That is what T20 cricket is all about. If KLR was making these scores - body language be damned - we would be celebrating him. But, right now, he is on a down-cycle - happens to all. So, sit him so he can figure things out and come back stronger because one thing is for sure - the guy has all the batting talent in the world. It's really not that complicated, but we complicate it by considering being dropped from the National team as "bayzddi" (insult).
