Iyer

Axar

Varun

Kohli

Hardik

so far in this series. We had less choking performances.

And the folks topping the chokers list...

1. Kuldeep - Mental midget

2. Gill - Hasn't shown up in knockouts

3. Rohit - Quickfire 10s and 20s is not what the expectation is from an opener

Pandya played a clutch knock in a tricky chase. A wicket at that time would have given Aus a lot of hope. Too much stone-walling would have let the required rate difficult to chase. His two sixes came at the right time to nail the chase.

Pandya is an unsung hero. He always shows up and is clutch. If he had stayed fit in 2023 WC, we win the tourney. I don't think we've lost to Aus with Pandya in the team!

Many small performances today

Axar wicket of Maxwell and short cameo

Shami 3 wickets

Jadeja wicket of Labu and Inglis when they were looking set for 300

Iyer patnership with Kohli after 2 early wickets

Axar once again was with zero nerves looked rock solid until he gave it away.  Icy vein.  India needs more such players.

Him and Pandya are our clutch gods

that doesnt make sense. Nerves made him give it away

KL, for the first time in his career, has shown clutch genes though all that heavylifting was done by Iyer, Axar & Pandya...

but still :wp173: for KL this time.

His role is taking on spinners. But at that point he didn't have to. He should have reviewed his role

Yes it just needed strike rotation.
