I am on my own bandwagon … Likes of you have no place on it

We have our flaws but primitive is not the word anyone can use for India. Yes i know the point you are trying to make about mindset of indo-pak fans but the current generation (in school) they are very different. They dont have any colonial hangover, most look at pakistan like we do at congo, self assured and look at white guy like any other person. Over the next decade India and Indians world view is going to change and it will be both ways.

Sports always taps into the lizard brain of humans. It is universal. Every part of the world and almost every sport that is popular has some sort of big rivalry or the other. In the Ind-Pak it is magnified many times over due to the political tensions.

Countries have gone to war over football matches and blood is routinely spilt over sporting rivalries in even the most "developed" part of the world.

To me white, black, brown, yellow, or whatever are equal esp. if they are good human beings.

People should be self assured, even ppl in Africa are. For e.g. Somali (SNA) were confident enough to take on US forces ... However, one has to look at realities too  ... Pakistan is Pakistan, it is not Congo. India is India, it is not USA (not even close to China). In terms of GDP per capita - Link, Ind is 127, BD is 128, and Pak is 136. So if many Indians are looking at Pak as Congo, Pakistanis could be looking at India that is closer to it (no matter what Indians in India perceive - India is usually "great" among Indians, which is not necessarily a reference point. Similarly, "confident" Pakistanis consider themselves as some atomic power that can impact the future of the world, a laughable line of thinking for those not in Pakistan ... The "reality" could be different. It is more useful to think of a country closer to what the reality is).

PS Note that many of the guys writing against other countries and attempting to display patriotism are only doing that among people of their country (in their comfort zone). If there are more people from different countries, they may act differently.

You are trying to cover 3-4 areas in one post. I was more focus on the mindset and how its changing from anything from west is always better than us to todays thought process of we are better than you. In terms of gdp/ppp however you want to look at it we will always look poor, after all there are 1.4b of us and our per capita number will look poor for decades. That said how many countries in world can boast of 1 unicorn every 12-15days or how many countries have private firms have satellites... point is we as a nation are on the move and there is no stopping us.

Good but note that USA is a superpower and the world say that ... Let the world also say that about India.

For e.g. according to many in India, it is a great military power. However, the reality is that it will struggle to last for long in a two front war.

Forget super power, world isnt even saying we are a world power but there actions speak volumes. Actions clearly indicate they cant ignore India and that a start. Its a long journey but a decade from say by 2035, i doubt world could take any decisions without India's consent.

We arent a military power again something we will be coming years. We are sufficiently armed to defend ourselves but thats about it.

The opportunities usually present various countries. Many countries in the Asia Pacific have taken advantage of the opoortunities. It is upto India what it does with it in the relatively short window it has.

In the future, "world" is likely to focus more on Africa as at that point, it would be be seen as the next frontier of growth.

US struggled against Taliban in Afghanistan, lost to Vietnam and needed everyone around Iraq to take it on. When did they take on anyone strong in the last 80 years?

China also lost to Vietnam and have their nose bloodied against India after 1962. Who have they taken on that is strong? Russia the other superpower is losing vs Ukraine

India has to face Pak (top 5 military) and China (2nd strongest). They have defeated Pak multiple times and aa mentioned above hold their own vs China. Any country would have trouble in a 2 front war. As seen from above superpowers have trouble va small countries itself

That is not apples to apples. For e.g., USA is using a part of its military in places far away from its own borders.

China (or equivalent) will defeat India in India, which will use all its might to no avail. In a 2 front war (on home front), India does not have the capability to survive for more than a few weeks.  India has never won any war apart for versus Pak.

You do know that the India front is not where all of Chinas might is concentrated right while Indias is?

In a war, a country can redeploy its resources. There is also a lot of technology advancement. Countries like China are in reducing their personnel to focus more on technology.

Apparently Indian military leaders, veterans and soldiers are fools defending our borders, the brave bozo from north america who shows his bravery by clubbing baby seals to death knows better.
