That’s not their job. He’s not an all rounder by any means. His job is to take wickets. Ashwin lost far more matches with his horrible bowling along with Axar.

Ashwin has  stopped trying to get the batsman out in t20i’s .. it’s all about bleeding less in the onslaught ..

the only spinner who would have done well is bishnoi… and we know what happened there ..

Yes but NZ, eng or Aus fans arent as chetiye diehard obsessive Indian ones.. none of them would probably tune in. money is made primarily whenever India plays someone esp for the BCCI. This is their secondary but official primary oncome so they need to be seen to milking it but their true priority is IPL and protecting its money making ability

Yes for those countries cricket is not some national achievement lol I always found this funny about Indian cricket fans, many belittle other sport achievements but for cricket it’s national achievement ( eg; sachin getting Bharatiya ratna )

Corruption, money laundering and most importantly of all- paisa... the rich will get rich and the players will oblige as long as they are paid well. Their powerful lobbyists and reps will ensure they remain in the team. Their focus has shifted from giving 200% for Team India to ensuring they are fit for IPL, Instagram reels and advertisements.

The sooner chewtiye Indian fans make peace that Team India and BCCI is not prioritising international cricket anymore and its all a façade, nothing will change. YOU are the ones attending IPL matches, YOU are the ones buying products endorsed by these shameless players. YOU are the root cause of the problem

I felt the same after the Asia Cup, and the feeling has been reinforced with the WC crap-fest.

DK, Kela and Harshal are few prominent names who are getting consistently picked for Indian t20 squad on the basis of their IPL performance in last 2 seasons.   This is the proof that IPL performance is highly deceptive.   These 3 players are the biggest frauds currently in our team.

Arshdeep is also an IPL pick. So it's 1-3 overall, which is still a poor number.

They left out or had to leave out 9 of the 10 quickest pacers in IPL 2022.

They left out all the 7 tall hit the deck pacers operating in IPL 2022.

And we were playing in Australia  !!

Every time I saw Bhuvi bowl, I wanted to take an Ibuprofen. His bowling atleast had strict control on line and length before. Now even that is not there.

We don't play like that,in India it's about batting , scoring runs and scoreboard pressure be it tests or lois.Indian mentality has always been very defensive when it comes to bowling.

With Kohli, it was different for a while, but yeah reverting back to the old standard I guess

That’s why I mentioned why BCCI not allowing a Indian players to participate in foreign T20 leagues. They don’t care about national interest as long as they get the ad sponsors and TV rights sold.

In Ipl they have foreign coaches like steyn or steffan Jones who bring in kuldeep or umran ,otherwise you get thala and his dusty pitches or Dravid and his non sexy approach.Thats how we generally play.

We have all criticized Dhoni for being anti pace ... but thinking about it, Umesh, Aaron, Shami and Bumrah all debuted under him and the last 2 became regulars too.

Dhoni played Umesh and Shami in tandem in WC 2015 in Australia and both were very quick. Don't think Thala would have selected 3 trundlers and 1 quicker bowler for Australia. He wasn't dumb.

When did BCCI claim IPL is being used for finding talent T20.They have created a tournament where even domestic players can get good money.BCCI is 100 percent right in not allowing Indian players to play in other leagues.

They are organizing enough tours to get exposure. IPL is crown jewel for BCCI and it should protect it .

If morons think IPL should produce great cricketers, it is not BCCI's fault. This moronic notion that they were other players who were better than selected ones is also wrong.

If TM and captain did not have guts to change even the batting order then why blame BCCI.

IPL is primarily a money spinner; anything else that comes out of it, is an unintended consequence.
BCCI just wants to squeeze in bottom of the barrel scraps with the decent players and some foreign picks into jugaadu teams to earn as much as they can.

The number of teams was increased, to spread the decent players thinner and rope in more from the average/below average pool.
