The Mastercard Australia tour of India for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy will kickstart in Nagpur from the 9^th of February. Team India will then play the next three Test matches in Delhi, Dharamsala & Ahmedabad. This will also be the last edition of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy which will be a 4-match Test series feature.

Sure we cant bat well in these conditions but Australia is worse.

 

Im all for playing wickets that suit fast bowlers, but lets employ that against the  minnows. Not to mention we MUST win every test to give a chance for the WTC Final.

I just saw that the second test v Bangladesh happens to be played on Xmas Day.

 

Im actually shocked to see this, I dont recall ever a cricket match being played on Xmas Day.

Well, it is almost certain that Aus will qualify because there is no way they will lose all games. If they lose 1 or 2, they will qualify. if they lose 3, still good chance to qualify.

South africa has good chance of qualification as WI touring them for 2 match. They moslty will lose all matches in Aus. 

India : if we lost 1 or 2 , we will strongly qaulify. if we lost three, we have to depend on others result. we win all, we will quality .

SL will not quality. if they win 2 matches in NZ, then they might but they will lose both matches.

 

Over all it seems like Aus vs india/SA . As far SA goes, they will have hard time vs WI even at home.

Then india will be out.  We can effort to lose one game.  We can deal with 2 loses     . Chances go down dramatically when 3 losses.  4 we can’t make it.

Vada paav haven’t captained for test since long time.  He has fatness issue.

Almost 4 years after the infamous ball tampering series, Australia and SA are playing each other tomorrow.

 

1st test starts at 05:50 in the AM at Brisbane. (IST)

 

Hoping for another great series. The sad thing is it is only 3 tests.

Think India wins vs Aussies 2-1 or 3-1. If we beat toygers 2 0 then we should go through.

I expect Aus to win. they have Lyon, who is good, and their batting is better thanks to smith getting back toward god-mode
