That things are "equal" is only for the books.

The BJP party doesn’t represent Indians it only represents gujjus hopefully see it through. The current BJP doesn’t allow anyone to grow as well it modi or Amit shah . Nitin gadikari was rising but was put down lost key post in the party. On top of it only gujju business man like Adani gets projects all over india funds everything through loans on top of loans. The impact of adani failure will be felt for many years. On top of it mr nepotist shah rules bcci and pushes under cutter at the expense of Kuldeep lol someone tell bjp they are congress 2.0

Gujarat’s issues with Pak are because of India … Without India, it has no issues with anyone!

The major founding fathers of Ind and Pak are from Gujarat. Gandhi, Sardar (who actually worked to unite India), & Jinnah.

It is a state that actually share borders with Pak unlike some states  that only talk about Pak as an enemy without anything much at stake.

That is true of all the states except Kashmir valley.

Gujrat like any other state benefits from the concept of India.

I am not sure. Guj could have been tied down because of other Indian states.

For e.g., its gas or oil or whatever (can’t recall) was/is sent to Mathura at the cost of Guj.

Why is Jinnah a negative ? Would you prefer civil wars in Independent India ?

He orchestrated direct action day which killed lot of Hindus. He is negative doesn’t matter if you justify saying he pariotion muslim nation he did nothing useful to the history of mankind.

Lol no, I didn't say anything close to that. He was a symptom and not the root cause of Islamic nationalism & exclusivity. Almost every Indian would agree Kashmir has been a headache and if one were to extrapolate, in united India things would be a hundred times worse.

If you're thinking I feel Jinnah is a great son of the soil, I didn't say that at all. I'm simply saying partition seems like a necessary evil in hindsight, else many more generations would be shedding blood.

This is going off topic, the main topic deserves more debate than this one from the past, so this is my last post on Jinnah on this thread.

Tunnel vision at its worst. BJP wouldn't be winning LS & so many states more than once based on such blatant bias. They have their strengths and weaknesses but India would not function if they had such colored glasses as you suggest. Maybe Sitharaman, Jaishankar, Rijuju & Goyal are gujju according to you :phehe:

Reality is despite all these pumping resources....  Gujarat still isn't in among top 10 states in India in terms of HDI index...  Tamil Nadu Kerala Punjab HP,  Haryana terror stricken J&K,  MAH are all well ahead of Guj.   People still enjoy better standards of living there. Imagine if GOI actually starts pumping resources there.  Most of India will get eventually over the Poverty line.

The founding fathers are the problem bloodiest partition. It’s net negative with Gujarat even with founding fathers

- Gandhi  - Jinnah +sardar patel

The bigger negative is making random states join India, allowing every Tom, Dick, and Harry to club themselves as Indians.

Real India should have been where Guj (including its former areas) is!

That’s the problem of not having a strong opposition. Gandhis should step away but they won’t. Remaining parties are too small to challenge.
