He will score runs here and there, there is no denying in that. But the more centuries he is going to score against pathetic attacks, the more is going to be trouble for Indian team in future. The guy will then hang on for that hundred 100s and will cost a youngster his spot and India more matches. There is no resurgence...

Not on Indian pitches , he is master of scoring runs on Indian pitches . Even in Australia , he only struggle at Brisbane and Perth pitch otherwise he is ok there . But Newzealand  South African  and English pitches are ache heels  for him as there is lot of movement and bounce .

His batting style is more suited to ODI and would not be a problem for Team India  as World Cup in India .

He hasnt scored in Indian pitches in Tests for 3 years now
