Ranvir Posted February 7, 2023 Share Posted February 7, 2023 The west also had a caste system similar to India where the Priests (Brahmins), Knights (Kshatriyas), Royals (Rajputs) were on top and everyone else was below. Even up to 50 years ago many sons did the same job as their father. The difference is that they don't follow that thinking now in the 21st century but Indians don't want to let it go. How many so called Brahmins today can recite the vedas? How many kshatriyas know how to fight? Does a jat born in Delhi know how to farm? Not only does this thinking keep people in their place it also gives some people a false sense of achievement. If you check the history, many Indian faiths came into existence mainly to oppose the Brahmanvaad. One of the main reasons of people joining Buddha was that he allowed people from other castes to read Bhagvath Gita and do everything Brahmans only had their right on.
