in general, yes. but some of the current bunch can. root can do it (especially freed from captaincy pressure); stokes can also do it (if he stops slogging wildly); harry brook definitely can based on his test game and in BBL. at least 1-2 others can chip in as well.

 

with wood, archer, andie (who holds one end up), and jamie overton, this would be a decent attack for the conditions. jack leach is also a solid SLA.
