Austin 3:!6 Posted August 31, 2024 Posted August 31, 2024 I saw Prithvi Shaw open for Northampton...by gawd what a poor technique. Every ball moving leg side and dabbing his bat with hand eye co-ordination. He did score some boundaries but also kept slip fielders busy...eventually got out edging to 2nd slip.
tweaker Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 Jaydev Unadkat took 4-32 for Sussex against Gloucestershire on day one at Bristol

tweaker Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Essex have secured the services of Shardul Thakur for seven games for the 2025 County Championship, with the signing coming on the back of an outstanding Ranji Trophy season. This will be Shardul’s first-ever appearance for a county team, with the Championship set to begin on April 4. Representing Mumbai, Shardul had made 402 runs in 10 innings at an average of 40.20 before the Ranji semi-finals, which also included a hundred after his team were in a spot of bother. He has also picked up 34 wickets, including a hat-trick, in 17 innings, at an average of 21.67. Shardul is the second-highest wicket-taker for his team this season and is also one of five batters from Mumbai with 400 or more runs rollingstoned 1

Surely he is a far better batsman
LordPrabhzy Posted February 21 Posted February 21 if he can get acclimatised in uk early summer and increase his pace by 5mph he should be an automatic pick for the Eng tests- his swing will be valuable here esp in the first two tests tweaker 1
