May be after 5 yrs if party survives till 2030. 2026 elections - it will be 5 to 10 percent. Entire 5-10 percent will come from NTK, BJP and some ADMK voters. Which section of bjp voters will vote vijay. Like which sub section? Vck is more likely to get its votes sucked. Bulk of vijay votes are sc, telegu and christian communities

Interpretation varies differently. My father is so much religious that he worshipped a samiyar for a specific reason. But me and my brother never liked any of these godman exploiting people's struggles to their advantage. So even within one family people are not in sync. You are talking about bringing entire state on page. Never gonna happen. Many will dismiss as arhaic, regressive and outdated. My father is as religious as anyone can be. But he absolute despises BJP. How can you justify divide by caste , saying sanatana dharma is dengue , but to unite on religion in a casteless society is not good. People will come around. It takes 2-3 assembly elections. It tool 15-20 years for BJP to establish in Karnataka to register some vote share.

Only reason BJP is finding some votes is due to alliance and gradual disintegration of AIADMK. Otherwise they won't get anywhere. There is this blind faith that all "Hindus" will vote for BJP blindly. That is a very very hard sell here. Why did BJP lose in Ayodhya? THey won some extra percentage in TN. THey lost a lot of votes elsewhere right? We cannot use these numbers and extrapolate. BJP never lost Ayodhya. It lost Faizabad district which has Assembly segments including Ayodhaya. It was a a caste-based and anti-incumbency. It didn't lost because Hindus didn't vote enmasse. In fact because of Ayodhay , BJP won a lot more seats in the south than in UP.

But when they campaign they don't use caste as tool to seek votes like religion is being used as mechanism. That is the difference. PMK was formed based on caste as they are the highest in number in TN. THey never won anything significant in TN. If anything VIjayakanth won more than them. Actual voting pattern depends on factors like performance of government. That is why no party could monopolize TN. TN is very different from Karnataka. it will never be like them. Even Suresh Gopi in Kerala won because he is suresh gopi the celebrity. Not because he represented BJP.

As I said BJP won more seats in the south, Gujarat etc because of Ayodhya. They lost Ayodhya due to Pasi vote consolidation and local businesses being scammed, nothing to do with religion politics Vicks57 1

Stan AF Posted October 31, 2024 Posted October 31, 2024 The only thing that idiots party will do is to split up the anti DMK votes into one more faction. Consolidation is not going to happen as long as there are 4 or 5 different parties fighting every election. vvvslaxman and Vicks57 2

diga Posted October 31, 2024 Posted October 31, 2024 Vijay's core fan base are also DMK voters .. Isnt that true? He will attract some votes from non-DMK parties for sure, but I think there will be some people who will veer away from DMK
G_B_ Posted October 31, 2024 Posted October 31, 2024 Actor Vijay’s political entry could help BJP in Tamil Nadu, cut DMK votes Vijay is likely to help the BJP more than it could harm it as the actor is more likely to split the Dravidian parties’ vote bank in Tamil Nadu. That explains the warm welcome the warm welcome message put out by local BJP leaders to Vijay’s announcement. Read more at: https://www.deccanherald.com/opinion/actor-vijays-political-entry-could-help-bjp-in-tamil-nadu-cut-dmk-votes-2879808 When Vijay launched his party several articles like this came out. Truth is most Tamil analysts I have spoken to or interacted with say he will split minority votes. Will especially do so if there is an allaince with Seeman. This is likely to impact both Dravidian alliances. DMDK when launched roughly got 10%. I think Vijay will have a bigger pull than 10%. Vijay+ Seeman will be more than 15%.
