Age is irrelevant. If he can score at 50 average with 90+ strike rate, he could be 70 for all i care.

Ok bonobo uni is closed. No more.

How many batters have done that at that age and that too at number 3?

thts not relevant. whats relevant is, he gets dropped when his performance declines. i dont care if he follows the trend of the 99.99% or becomes the 0.01% to thrive in his 40s or 50s.

Meaningless ODI's or T20? I'd rather him smash test records left right & center instead of getting injured in a useless bilateral or even the CT - he will debut sooner rather than later but he can't cement his place unless RGS/BRat retire as there's literally no room for the upcoming players with these two still playing!

Somene this good would've found a place even in last year's world cup with brave selectors. he wasn't exactly an unknown quantity even back then.

A leftie upfront would have been handy. INdia could have shunted Gill down the order. SKY was a total waste of a resource.

Rinku was a much better option lower down the order if they wanted depth. Plus another leftie to boot.

He isn't Hugh Jackman who will be Wolverine till age of 90.

Hope Gill pulls up his socks. It looked like he had turned the corner in ODIs last year but post Dengue he hasn't looked the same. Dengue had the same affect on Gill which Asia Cup thrashing had on Pakistan :giggle:

Why don't you talk about our so called brave captain? Why did he drop IK after just 2 games, when Gill was probably 50/50 against Pak & down with Dengue just a week back! Then when it came to Surya Kumar he wasn't really given any meaningful game time till the finals & of course we know what happened there, where TM chickened out & sent RJ ahead of him :hmpf:

The playing 11 is decided by the cap & coach, selectors mostly just rubber tamp the teams they need/want  :bebored:

One of the greatest talents we had for a while. Even lolhi dsnt have range of shots jaiswal has. He destroys spin.

I should have used TM as a catch all instead of selectors then.

Sarfaraz deserves a spot too.

atleast I would like to see him in A tours of SENA countries and see how he deals with these conditions..I still think he could be Indian subcon bully but with such a strong record..it will be unfair to not give him a chance on A tours..
