Left handers are predominantly leg side players.  If he has a good square cut & a cover drive vs pace he would be set.

Spin game gets tested really when it comes to playing off side.

MI is a great franchise for a talent like him.

India always lacks solid left handed middle order players.

Tilak is ready while Nehal may be one to look out for as well.

yeah, need to see more of him.  Cut shot is pretty handy for lefties.  Just use speed to time it and it opens up your range when stuggling.  This is where I'd prefere someone like Jaiswal over Kishan in the longer run.  But yeah, good prospect and beind sandwiched between Sky and Tilak, and with Tendulakr on the side, there's good opportunity to excel his game.

To be fair, Kohli did his part in this game to maximize RCB chances.

But Rohit made sure he does his part well too.

They have only two batters in FAF & Maxwell...  You can't beat MI in Wankhede with a malnourished batting unit.

Very unintelligent bowling by RCB as well. They saw how taking pace off worked. Yet they went pace on and got clattered befoer realizing they had to take pace off.

Vyashak & Harshal even with Pace off won't have mattered.  200 was simply not enough.  Both have limited skill set.

Someone like Mohit Sharma may have done well here.

Yes. Margin for error at the Wankhede is very limited. Edges fly like it is at the Chinnaswamy.

Patidar injury has left a big hole in their MO..the Indian batters are very poor in RCB..Kohli is there but lacks Strike Rate..needed in these flat tracks to cover for their bowling and extra batter as impact sub in other tean

the IPL teanscwhich are doing well are the ones with good Indian young or domestic players..

even Delhi Capitals struggle due to same reason..

Anuj Rawat investment didnt work well..even Shahbaz Ahmed has reqressed..Lomror wont be that consistebt too

Their bowling should do a lot better. Cannot bowl both sides of the wicket with no strategy. I respect Faf as a batsman. But he allows others easily to take over captaincy.I see him actively listening to VK,  DK and any player in the team. So there is no signature for Faf here. He is going with the flow and unfortunately valuing useless suggestions from these "experienced" players. Strategically this was not a great unit.
