After watching the first 2-3 over, I felt that if LSG would be around 100 by 14-15th over w/ some wkts in hand, it would be an interesting position to be in. Need to see what it makes of the last 36 balls.

An issue with Indian cricket is too much focus on stats where players make a career out of stats padding. On the other hand, India is lucky to have players like the Pandya brothers, who give almost zero weightage to stats. For them, it is more about playing match situations and trying to win a game. Highly competitive cricketers.

A batsman is allowed to leave the field for whatever reason. He can even retire himself out. It is not against the law where an excuse is needed.
