Domestic = India citizens. I guess Goa gets mostly phoren/firangi ones

Goa gets a lot more domestic tourists vis a vis international ones, obviously.

Positively convinced that the infographic is incorrect.

Goa gets fewer domestic tourists than Chhattisgarh?

Depends how they have defined a tourist.

If you look at the destinations, and UP and TN bein top2, the definition of domestic tourists is certainly not the yuppy desitnation vacation crowd. Who will visit UP/TN to have fun like in Goa? It is mostly pilgrimages that average Indians take every year, these are mostly religious travel. Crores of people go to Char-dham/Rameshwaram/Madurai/Kashi etc. The criteria could be train/bus ticket purchases, hotel reservations etc.

I'm comparing Goa to Chhattisgarh!!

Also Goa has a fair bit of temple/ church related tourism.

Swargwasi Lata Mangeshkar's village in Goa houses the most famous temple of the State.

What is there in Chhattisgarh again?

I simply don't get the fascination with gold (or bitcoin for that matter). I get that it is malleable, ductile and all that stuff I mugged in middle school science, but I'd much rather attach value to iron and its alloys like steel, and things that are actually used for stuff that does something other than just shine. But whatever.

Surprising not to see UK here. They had colonized half the world .  RBI even moved 100t from UK vaults to India in June.

The UK held 2500 tons of gold reserves post world war 2. They sold away most of their gold to finance budget and economic deficits and currently hold around 300 tonnes of Gold reserves.

Was it not triggered by Soros in the 90s? Remembering reading something about that effect.

Don't know about Soros but read that they diversified their reserves into bonds, currencies and gold.

Mostly the hills, valleys, waterfalls, national parks, tiger reserves, wild life sanctuaries.

Hills and valleys?? Every state has hills and valleys and such like.

You aren’t even able to or willing to name these famous touristy places in Chattisgarh.

Not for a second can I believe that Chattisgarh attracts more domestic ( or international) tourists than Goa.

Neither is that well connected by air.

The infographic seems faulty.

I don’t believe the China ‘s fudged numbers. On India, can we count pharmacists too? More people in India  get treated  by medical shop attendants than doctors - “Bhaiyya, pet ki dard ke liye kuch dawayeen dena!”

That's not actually treatment, just hit and trial.

Also USA numbers are not given above :hmmm:
