It's not our staple diet and most non-vegetarians eat vegetarian food too. So there are hardly many pure non-vegetarians in India.

Rise in non vegetarian numbers is due to increasing PCI and living standards of lower middle class. Pure non vegetarianism is impossible in climatic conditions of India and entire Subcontinent. This is also the reason why there is limited scope of Pork industry in the country. Edited June 13 by Lone Wolf

Once upon a time, Bengaluru used to be as cool as Udhakamandalam . Tillu and singhvivek141 2
Lone Wolf Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Man such an interesting graphic this... Most minute fascinating detail in this is Difference in TFR of PoK and India's Kashmir. PoK has HDI of Sub Saharan Africa and is one of the poorest places in Asia. While Indian Kashmir has impressive HDI numbers and little to no absolute poverty. Both Muslim Majority and yet TFR around 1.1 vs 3-4 in PoK.

Skewed data. The amount of people attempting to crack it vs who crack it, doesn’t imply it is tough. Each year they increase the cutoff for GC, to compensate for reservations. It is a royal mess. Indians mainly do it for money , either through corruption or for dahej. Sarkari make means set for life. Ground reality Edited June 28 by coffee_rules Tillu 1

The best talent India has to offer is already in US/West no elite talent wants to waste his time in DRDO ISRO public sector based entities with limited salary scope and Babudom bureaucracy. We would have long produced our own Jet engine and probably would have our very own 5th gen fighters getting ready if things were otherwise. China in early to mid 2000's worked on creating such lucrative policies to limit and minimize brain drain Outta their country. Edited June 30 by Lone Wolf Tillu 1
