The other I can think is how US controls Medicare expenses. The doctors can’t overcharge. They did something similar in telangana passed a GO to cap hospital fee per day during Covid but close family member who was charged high. We had to reach out to local MLA who helped us. Every Indian should have access to basic health care. That is their basic right. People need to understand how hard the Indians in the lower echelons are working. Today everyone has access up to 5 lakh insurance. Not enough still but better than nothing. It has transformed the lives of many on verge of poverty line.
