We knew Siraj & Kuldeep were in form...  Bumrah had just returned from injury & we didn't knew how it would go. 

Kohli was struggling against spin...  There were limited hopes from Kela & most didn't want him in WC team. 

 

Credit must go to Rohit & Dravid that they worked through all that in a single Asia Cup & brought tournament intensity within players.

Richer countries will always have better infrastructure and systems.

 

That's how NZ, a small country where cricket isn't even that big a deal can field a decent team.

 

The Asian countries are third world countries who are able to compete due to population advantage.

 

Now that India is becoming richer, it has more effective systems and has pulled away from the other Asian countries.

 

My theory is that by the mid 2030s at the latest (can be earlier) India will be unbeatable in any format.

yes, if dravid wins this WC, I will not call him an idiot again... that being said, I do think that many of his past decisions (e.g., mukesh coomer) were asinine.
