Hope you're right, I just don't want to see a one sided match which would be over way ahead of time .

You don't realize how low the bar is this time. Basically, we are sending a team with 2 celebrities and remaining are cricketers.

Yes, I'm happy for that , its good for Pakistan that the talented cricketers like Abhishek Sharma are not replacing the celebrities in India's  CT squad.

What's wrong with ( some of ) you, can you be , for cricket sake, less toxic and narrow minded . Extreme negativity is paranoia,  not good for anyone's mental health.

Where is the negativity ?

Only India & Pakistan aren't playing in CT, there are other teams as well.

Biggest match for me and many of us is vs Australia (who are the cricketing legend), NZ (who are our Achilles heel in ICC), England (who can just explode any time) & RSA (simply because of their potential).

Match vs Pakistan is hyped due to history, nostalgia & media hype. But in reality both teams need to focus on other teams instead of just doing dramebaazi.

So three teams from Group A are going to the semifinals. Grape.

While speaking to the media in Lahore, Hassan Ali predicted the semi-finalists for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025:

"India, New Zealand and Australia as semi-finalists alongside hosts and defending champions Pakistan."

“I believe this is the best squad for the Champions Trophy. We should support the players, and there should not be any ifs and buts.”

“The memories of the 2017 Champions Trophy are still fresh; it was a phenomenal achievement for all of us young players. We could never forget the winning moment.”

“It is a welcome development that the Champions Trophy is now being held in Pakistan.”

“It was essential for the young talent to have the event here. I hope the Pakistan team will do well in the Champions Trophy 2025.”
