Tillu Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Mike Hesson to Cricinfo: "We're sending some players to the US. There's some power-hitting expertise over there, and we're exploring some options. We've got some players who've had some longer-term injuries, and players we want to expose to different methods of power hitting and just a different learning environment, spending four months in one place to get some new fresh ideas."

Not sure who thse experts are but if they are trying to incorporate base-ball skills that is good, think Steve smith also consulted some1 from us for his power hitting and t20 game. There is good knowledge there about fast bat swing and distance hitting in that regards, but if they are going to some cricket experts then what is the point. Any idea which centre/club they are working with?? Edited June 24 by tapandrun express bowling 1

Any idea which centre/club they are working with?? It's Pak cricketers we're talking about. All they're gonna do is eat burgers and pizzas in US. They're not even gonna understand what the coaches are telling them. That is if they even paid for the coaches. Most probably they're gonna watch a few triple A baseball games and go home neel roy, Tillu, express bowling and 1 other 4

They planned and running a camp for both white-ball and red-ball players in the nca they called 60/70 players or something like that, not really sure what they are going to do in this camp. Pak team had similar power hitting camp under abdul razaq (pak inlnl) nearly 1-2 yrs back. There is no confirmation which camp Pak team is joining in us, if its some cricket coach doing the training then there is no point they could have called the same coach to their own nca where the local coaches can also check and understand how to develop power hitting, even same thing can be done with baseball coach unless they are tied to some club. They won't learn anything there. Remember how they sent their players to army camps, they occassionally do these things to fool their jaahil fans Edited June 25 by Tillu

Pak camps are always hilarious! Recall one where they were giving piggyback rides to one another and in another camp they were carrying rocks on a trail Let's see what hilarious and mind bending videos come out this time Sgattick10 1

Its okay to get help from outside, its expedite the process and you can add on to your own knowledge as well. Bcci also calls experts from outside in nca and hpc to work with players they add few local coaches to observe learn and add to their own knowledge Edited June 25 by tapandrun express bowling 1

But yes they did lun Ultimate_Game 1
tapandrun Posted June 25 Posted June 25 (edited) there is not much info related the camp, but looks like pak does not have t20i cricket for a longtime now. Coud be wrong but its an initiative run by us-based psl franchise which also owns a minor league cricket team in us was trying to get some on their psl intnl train with their us side. And pcb is piggybacking on this and add few more pak intnl. Such events are mostly done to brand-building and clout which may also help players in many ways be it their game or other things. So their minor league players will get to train with pak intnls. and pak players get to use their facilities and if there is any specialized training then that too. Makes sense too if a cricket franchise is using specialized consulting they would like to utilize to its maximum Edited June 25 by tapandrun

It should've been 5-1 instead of 4-3. It's been 10 years since Pak won a match against us in Hockey - almost the same time since they won their last ODI against us Dil ko sukoon to bahut milta hai. Gollum Posted June 28 Posted June 28 Now England defeats Pookland 7-0. Pooks have lost 16/16 matches in this Pro League (not even a shoot-out loss, saare ke saare regular time mein haare yeh beghairat). Relegated to Nations Cup. Should never have been in this place, NZ won previous Nations Cup but chose not to participate in the big league and 2nd place Pooks cashed in. No one can question Asim Munir or Sharifs neither their close ones. Their ex players understand that this lodu Mohsin Naqvi has zero idea how to run cricket but they can't say a word against him or he will take action against them as he is also the Interior minister and close aide of Sharifs and Munir. That's why they do Chatukarita non stop that Naqvi sahab is trying his best but fault is on coaches and Team management.
