I think they are a mid - level team and this result is the right result.

They only managed to beat NZ (among the stronger teams). That too due to a fluke innings by Fakhar and rain. They wouldn't have gone for that if the full 50 overs were played.

 

They weren't convincing at all in the other matches they won , the final group position flatters them. In form and performances , they should have finished 7th. But then qudrat ke nizaam happened to make them finish 5th

Have some patience bro, you can still win the game vs British. Ask your Adil Rashid & Moeen Ali to bowl 10 over of full tosses to Fakhar & Babar. Also communicate your Birmingham folks to do a protest on the streets of UK for "justice for Riyasat e Pudina".

 

Jokes apart, New Zealand is a top team which is hitting the semis and finals from 2015 & 2019...and has won the WTC in 2022. Unlike Pakistan whose cricketing board might be petitioning now to schedule a game vs Mongolia, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Somalia, Algeria etc so that they can become lumber 1 again.
