The Hindu BJP got a boot in Karnataka due to this cultural arrogance, and now Telangana has voted for its opposition.

That is quite ok. As Rajasthan is proving, Congoons are unable to hold on to a state for two consecutive terms. Congress winning in Telengana is a boon for us. BJP's weakness is going up against regional parties - be it TDP or TMC or DMK or CPM ( effectively Kerala party now). BJP does far, far better in direct fight vs Congress and Congress has removed the obstacle of BRS in the long term for us. So we are happy.

Not to mention BJP has doubled it's vote share in telangana. Congress will stall all key projects as it does. 2028 will be opening for BJP.

Dumb leftist don't get which way the wind is blowing. They get blown away.

The BJP will not form governments in the South going forward, and the factors influencing this go beyond just Hindu-Muslim dimensions.

The BJP's voting stare is predominantly centered in coastal Karnataka, that's the maximum they can get here.

In the Northern states, given the moral bankruptcy of their left, no party currently stands as a significant challenge to the BJP. As you're a resident of Karnataka, your primary source of political satisfaction will have to come from developments in the Hindi belt.

The north gets it. Unfortunately the south doesn't yet. And unfortunately, south right now is suffering from its fair share of self praising, self congratulatory peoples.

BRS killed the Telangana economy with so much freebies that their debt is now a staggering  5.7 crore rupees, they  were at a surplus before BRS took power.now voters have voted for Congress who will continue with this freebie culture until they will crash the economy completely.I am afraid Congress is on the same path in Karnataka, they have no money for infra projects because most of the surplus is going to 5 freebies they promised.India is not rich enough to become a permanent freebie state,BJP is also no different now looking at their freebies in Rajasthan and MP.

BRS is finished? Their national ambitions is gone, and will they even survive as a party?

They have lower core voters as compared to other regional parties, and with Congress at helm, Muslims will desert them completely.

They need BJP for now, rather than vice-versa. My armchair analysis, thinks they will form either a official or non-official alliance there...

Vote share do not matter. Congress did not loose any vote share in Rajasthan while in MP it just reduced by 0.6 percent. Fir bhi haal dekh lo

I agree, if there's an alliance today, it has to be equal distribution of seats. Alliance will save BRS from getting finished in long term and will fast track BJP's rise.BRS also has to look to rise from its current minority appeasing image.

lol congress has promised everything free in telangana. We are going backwards. At least TRS made sure there is some development with industrial parks which made sure the real estate prices are high. I feel this time around congress will make us bankrupt. We are one of the richest states in south. They are going to give land to everyone lol.

The promises covered cash transfers, pension schemes, free electricity, cylinders and land to a wide base of voters, from women and farmers to students and martyrs' families.
