Whaat is the point if people who do well here are not even considered? 

 

Let us face it, Indian cricket is IPL and IPL is Indian cricket.

 

What should the advice be to a youngster? It is obvious that the advice should be -  "Focus on the IPL and to hell with everything else. If you work out in the IPL, everything will work out for you."

No news, have to see MP Ranji squad if he has moved back.

Varun Aaron did the same, played for Baroda in SMAT and moved back to Jharkhand for VHT...so it's a possibility.

Only trundlers get selected. They're the first choice. No one cares for fast bowlers in India

We should put it in contract that stipulates compulsory game time in ranji if you want to play IPL.

not Ranji but List A matches and SMAT atleast..our players are injury prone..they will definitely break playing 4 day Ranji matches and possibley play half heartedly

we can have a balance between fast tearaways with little control (e.g., present umran, tyagi) who are like nantie hayward and out-and-out trundlers reminiscent of gagandeep singh, vinny coomer, etc who are not int'l class. ideal balance are people who can bowl accurately and consistently at 135+, can swing/seam the ball, and/or extract bounce

In the initial UP Ranji squad..Bhuvaneshwar's name was present. Now in the updated list he is not...seems he has given up on Test prospects.

 

Ravi Bishnoi is in Gujrat team.

V Koushik gets a 7fer against Punjab, 0 for Kaverappa. Looked up Koushik, he is MF. Aise pace mein hazaron milte hain India mein.
