Agree for the most part but would categorize Kapil as Fast Medium. He became a medium pacer towards the end but from late 70s to mid to late 80s he was a Fast Medium bowler.

Medium pacers would be Roger Binny, Karsan Ghavri, Madan Lal etc. who bowled along with Kapil and you could see how slow they were compared to Kapil.

I meant Fast medium only, Binny, Ghavri were military medium.

@vishalvirsingh I request you and the other pace worshipping fans to not rewrite history and spread misinformation.

The three balls Pathan bowled were 116kph, 123kph and 124kph.

He was bowling military medium. Please stop with this inaccurate description of pace bowling.

Kapil Dev was a medium pacer in every sense, all his contemporaries call him a medium pacer, He always operated in low 130s.

Pathan hardly bowled 140+ after his first Aus tour

There also he was mostly a 130-135k bowler...touching 140's.

125-130 he became after becoming inspired with Wasim.

But they are all trundlers now which is why they are underperforming. They are all bowling in low 130z, which is exactly the kind of trundlers that poster loves.

So they are medium pacers

Umran n Tyagi are not 130kph

they still bowl 140+ last I saw
