In Perth most can. 7 minutes ago, Lord said: His main job is controlling an end. To control an end in non swinging conditions, some seam movement and non floaty deliveries are needed. He can do it in Perth. Can he do it on normal pitches ? That's what I want to see. Edited November 23 by express bowling Mosher 1 Link to comment

Forever Indian
Don't know if it was the pitch or just the talent, he seemed to have so much time playing his shots! express bowling and ravishingravi 2 Link to comment
lemsip
The 21 year old clearly has raw talent and more importantly the attitude needed for test cricket. He didn't get to bowl much in the first innings but I think he is a capable 4th seamer who can do a holding job when the team needs to relieve the main bowlers. In time I think he is more than capable of becoming a proficient seamer and should come in especially handy on the England tour next year. New guy and ravishingravi 2 Link to comment

Lord
Another great knock in adverse situation. Very impressed with his match awareness. Hope we use him more with ball. His role is to hold an end and give break to main 3 quicks. Will be a wicket taking option in Eng too. BacktoCricaddict 1 Link to comment
singhvivek141
Nitish seems to be a batter first than bowler. Now I seriously doubt Harsha Bhogle's cricketing knowledge when he said that Nitish is a bowler first and its coz of IPL everyone is thinking him as a batter first. express bowling 1 Link to comment

Spot on, he looks more like batsman who can bowl. I would have given him a spell earlier today and asked him to swing the ball. Link to comment

In my glorious career as a cricket savant Early on I have identified such obviously talentless hacks as: Anil Kumble Virender Sehwag and, not the least Virat Kohli (him I ‘caught out’ early, in his U19 days) My technique of identifying talent is simply brilliant. I immediately proclaim 9 out of 10 players as hacks. Don’t need to see them play even. 6 out of those 9 times I am inevitably right. #cricketguru #stayblessed jf1gp_1 and BacktoCricaddict 2 Link to comment
