Can't understand this bias against KKR players. Likes of Dube are persisted with and even get into ODIs without any performance and someone like Venky Iyer, who's much better bowler and better suited to intl cricket is ignored. Same with Harshit Rana. Avesh, Siraj, Khaleel continue to get chances and stink it up but Harshit doesn't even get a game

Venky could have been a good replacement when Hardik did his thing in last year WC. Sure he isnt that pacy but a decent middle overs option and good bat.

In ODIs, I believe Venky is a better choice than Dube.

 

Venky seems a proper ODI bat while Dube is a left handed Yousuf Pathan level player.

Yusuf has 2 tons including one in SA. Dube is nowhere close. Even his spin playing ability was exposed in SL.

he is not a good player of spin but just hitter of spin..if you ask him to defend against good spinners on helpful tracks..he will be found wanting..

He came back after that Sports Hernia operation..probably needs more time to be back to his best..seeing unimpressive perfornance in Duleep Trophy

Unlikely that hell get to play though with Pandya, Dube, Parag likely to be in the starting XI
