Not sure if it is because i am angry at how this series is going but he is one of the worst picks i have ever seen.

there are several, not just jurel. wadkar is a classic batter and a solid keeper.

Truth be told I would rather have a retired Dhoni as keeper than Bharat.

 

Even at his age he is still superior to Bharat and at least Hitman has someone who could provide him tactical advice.

 

All jokes aside, Kishan should have been keeper with Pant's absence.

since 2007 or so, our team got better and test caps atleast at home were difficult to come by unless the player brought specific skills.. Bharat and Mukesh would not even dream about playing for India. Arrival of Dravid has changed everything.

Kela made sure India falters in 2nd test in SA by dropping Markram when he was going great guns and 19 th Nov 2023 we all know what a heroic effort was it

Dravid would have ensured 30-40 tests for Jayant Yadav,  Pankaj Singh & even Karun Nair who found himself dropped after failing in 2 tests would be mainstays under him. 

India used to be a very tough side to get into pre Dravid era. 

 

I'll only give credit to Dravid as he backed Jaiswal over Tukuraj as test opener in Windies... And rest is history.
