I don't think he has any consistency in his bowling. He is awful against RHB. His action suits to LHB.

Hope Gauti doesn't make the same mistake again. He is definitely a better new ball bowler than Bumrah. He showed that in England and India

In next series Akashdeep will not be selected in playing  11 due to seniority quota.

I was so wrong about Akashdeep, I did not see this skill to RHB from him before.Hats off to him.If he can do this RHB, he will be such an asset.

He is an honest trier.

Sad that BCCI and selectors prioritized Mukesh over him..and wasted his 2 years.

Just becoz Mukesh can bowl few yorkers, he was promoted as an all phase bowler with an attitude of soldier.

Akashdeep is the real deal, he wont be successful in T20's...but he can be an asset in ODI's and Tests.

He has used the crease brilliantly. With his action even if he straightens a bit like he did to Root, he will be handful.

He has potential to be like Shami...there is quite a similarity. Has played enough FC games to adapt.

Key things is consistency. Give anyone atleast 10 games before discarding

My analysis is just fine.He still averages double against RHB  36 vs  18 against LHB that includes all the RHB wickets he got in this test.He has dismissed 6 RHB in this test.

Mostly because he struggled in Australia. Those pitches dont suit his bowling style...and hence his length became drivable.

In second game, he pulled his length back but kept on missing edges....later got injured as those weren't his natural length.

Akashdeep was recovering from dengue when he was in Australia. He was not able to bowl at his full pace or with full effort.

I think his natural length is 6m to 8m. In Australia, one needs to bowl a tad fuller due to the bouncy pitches.
