Muzarbani is a much better bowler and one of the very few quality players in Zim. Maphaka gets slaughtered in IPL and still gets picked but Muzarbani doesn't even gets a chance.

Everybody who hasn't played looks great. Muzarbani is yet to play at such high level and offers nothing Indian pacers can't.

However agree on associate players getting a chance.

I am all for associate players getting opportunities.  Few from scotland. Given the fetish for intelligent trundlers i was thinking they would pick Netravalkar.

Foreign spot won't go to trundler

I almost did this week. But there was two different ways.  One rice/dal cooking together like this video which i saw other one is cooking separately.

Cooking rice, daal and veggies together gives you the best results.

Don’t write  sambar and bisi bele baath in the same sentence . They are not the same

One of my pet peeves. As a Tamizhan brought up in Bengaluru, I was oft-annoyed by my relatives referring to BBB as Sambarch(s)aadam. Lei nimmajjigaLa, the spices in BBB are so uniquely aromatic, there's is really no comparison with sambar.

I make BBB once every 3 weeks. Secrets to a good BBB:

Easy secret:  More dal than rice (1.25:1). Don't skimp on dal. Need it for texture. Soak together in warm water for 1 hour before cooking.

Hard secret: fresh masala. When I am able to source from this from people in blr who really know the proportions of all spices, there is nothing better in the world.

For my regular prep, I just use MTR powder. I double what they say on the package. Good enough for us.
