RCB's biggest enemy is their own home. Unless thats sorted, they will struggle always. Every team who qualify for playoff and ahead has to win 5/7 games at home.

Every team who qualify for playoff and ahead has to win 5/7 games at home. i agree,every successful team in any team sport has a good home advantage.RCB has no idea on how to prepare their wickets.too flat and they will get outbatted by most teams,spin friendly is also out of the question since the team is filled with players who cant play spin and they dont have spinners anyway.their best bet with this team now is to leave grass on the wicket and hope their seamers bowl teams out.

Go RCB may face the issues again. They have bolstered the bowling but Chinnaswamy's flat decks will negate any advantage that they have. Plus other teams like KKR, CSK, RR, DC will give them turning pitches at their home. As RCB's batting against spin is questionable. Unless they move elsewhere from Chinnaswamy, maybe a stadium at Shivamogga, Mysuru or Hubli. Their performance will always be hanging with the thread of luck. coffee_rules 1

urbestfriend Posted March 22, 2025 Posted March 22, 2025 No hopes...RCB's strong forte is batting , but Englishmen like Salt, Livingston is in crappy form, so batting is weak. They have not improved bowling a bit, could've invested in good indian spinners. Fast bowling is also not so good, Bhuvi is already in his last leg..As Gilchrist said, may be wooden spoon ? I dont think Kohli has it in him to lead a team, he is just playing for money.
