@express bowling @Mosher Agarkar FTW

Good find bro  !   I have a lot of faith in Agarkar. Like the fact that he wants to fast track Mayank in tests. This is why we need a strong and forward thinking Chief Selector.

I am just wondering about a few things.

1)  Agarkar, Nehra snd Rishabh want him.  What does Dravid want ?

2)  Almost every pacer is bowling slower and with less bounce under Dravid and Mhambrey. Hope it doesn't happen if Mayank debuts for India.

3)  Nehra has Tyagi in.GT.  What is he doing with him  ?  Is he working on improving his lines ? When will he give him game time ?

Hope Agarkar picks him for Australia tour.

His coach says he can clock 158-159kph and bowl sharp yorkers and bouncers. We have already seen those bouncers. Now want to see him clock those speeds and bowl some toe crushers.

Need consistent off stump Channel bowling from him with some bounce for him to succeed in Australia.

Overall I'd like to see him in T20 WC squad right now.

GT has Tiyagi similar ability, they are not playing him

The sad part is that Tyagi is a very skilful bowler.

Apart from pace and bounce, Tyagi can swing the ball both ways, has a really good yorker, a vicious bumper and can seam the ball too. He used to bowl channel deliveries very well in his younger days.

Too many different coaches and changes made to his actions have messed him up a bit.

As it stands, if he improves his lines, he is good to go.  This is the key.

Line has been his problem for a long time should have rectified it, need to produce results. This is harsh reality of Ind cricket right now.

TM is inclined towards sub 140 kmph bowlers, cannt say what is the reason . These faster bowlers needs to make noise fr good reasons.

When Mayank was bowling yesterday attitude of Ind commentators was obvious, they did nt talk about it till Hyden and other intnl commentators started appreciating him.

This is what it is

Another reason to be optimistic about Agarkar is he seems to we watching domestic cricket & being a fast bowler himself he knows where the actual potential lies.

Hopefully he has kept his eyes on Himanshu Chauhan as well.

You wouldn't have seen these news if he'd a bad debut. If he was really in contention for the England test series wonder why he was not included in the fast bowlers contract.

I could very well be wrong and the selectors may really have had an eye on him. But the news coming out now sounds more like a PR work.

Basically Kartik needs to bowl like this.

Kartik bowled so fast in UPTL that he took two hattricks and batsmen were missing even low full tosses that were dipping.

He gives everything while bowling. Doesnt hold himself back. These changes in action has helped him in increasing pace from 140 to 150kph..

In 2020 season he was around 136-144 mark, from 2022 onwards he was hitting 142-150. In SMAT 2023 he was bowling 144-153.

Tyagi may create some ripples if he gets to play. Even if he goes for runs, he will pick wickets and bowl 150 k+.

GT could have easily played him yesterday in place of Nalkande.

Plus his body is becoming more ready for bowling quick.

Tyagi is still just 22.

Give him a chance now and let Mayank and Tyagi bowl alongside Bumrah and Shami.
