They are doing practice sessions for sure. this is even worse scenario, if he can not manage his body in nets how can he do it in match situation. shows he is too fragile

Never thought he would have bowled anywhere near 70 deliveries across 2 IPLs lol, But man has bowled 121 deliveries in his 2 seasons Edited May 17 by Suhaan

MK55 Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Well according to some sources, it looks like he was fired instead of being actually injured by a new thing. If that’s true then it’s good news. That would mean it’s not any fresh injury and also would have put some sense into him. https://cricket.one/cricket-news/mayank-yadav-to-be-released-after-ipl-2025-report-claims-shocking-reason/682837749724cd66d538f310 Sources also revealed that internal discussions within the LSG camp further strained the situation. After noticing a drop in his pace and intensity during practice sessions and matches, the coaching staff reportedly questioned him about his fitness and preparation. “There was a discussion at LSG about this. Mayank was asked about his drop in pace and non-match days activities. He told them that he is giving his best but not able to go beyond and for the non-match day workload, he informed them about his routine which has been going on since the rehab at the CoE. The timing of the decision and the discussions during that meeting made it clear that they had lost trust in him and are unlikely to retain him for the next edition," the said source added. One thing is clear that NCA (or its new incarnation COE - Center of Excellence) is useless and should be disbanded. They mismanaged Mayank and have no clue how to handle or treat him. It wouldn't surprise me that they still haven't found the root cause of Mayank's injury. BCCI should've sent him abroad to a specialist, and they need to hire professionals in NCA/COE coz I haven't seen one player who has improved or successfully rehabilitated after going to NCA. Secondly, LSG are equally responsible. How come LSG management and coaches were not monitoring Mayank and not in touch with NCA/COE? Mayank was their core player. How can they let Mayank be at NCA/COE without being in touch or monitoring his progress? They should've stepped in when they saw NCA mis-managing him. If the useless piece of shyte Goenka can spend 27cr on Pant, surely he could've spent enough on Mayank by giving him the medical support he needed. Mayank's mishandling is on BCCI, NCA/COE and LSG with BCCI the most responsible for this fiasco. Despite NCA's lack of results and accountability they still let Mayank be sent there and after almost 1 year with NCA, Mayank is actually in a much worse condition. What are the phuckers at NCA doing other than cashing checks? Looks like NCA is nothing but another sarkari organization with nepos and sifarshis employed and cashing in on the gravy train. And poor Mayank and Indian cricket has to pay the price. Edited May 18 by Ultimate_Game raki05, express bowling, tapandrun and 2 others 1 1 3
AKane Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Mayank's original action was I thought ok. It was nothing very unusual like say a Jeff Thomson or Lasith Malinga or even a Malcolm Marshall who did not look over the shoulder to bowl. But the din was loud - "oh that action", "oh that action", "oh that action".... horror, injuries await, etc. That gave the license to the powers that be to mess with the action. Result speed has reduced a lot, injuries have increased a lot and..... I know I am preaching to the choir. raki05 and express bowling 1 1

All thanks to NCA/COE. Not even one bowler successfully rehabilitated. Players go to NCA to die and it's a fast bowlers' graveyard. It says it all that Mohd Shami's old age training methods at his farm with his coach have been much more successful than whatever NCA does. tapandrun 1
vishalvirsingh Posted May 19 Posted May 19 did NCA approve that Mayank is fit??? as the way he bowled anyone who knows fast bowling can easily say that he was just jogging and bowling. my daughter who is 14-year-old saw him bowling and said why is he not bowling at full tilt and bowling. i had no answer. why was he sent to LSG when he was not fit. what is bcci doing with regards to his fitness. why is he not sent to the best of doctors/physicians in the world who can figure out the issue and resolve it. i have a feeling someone is JEALOUS of him and that's why He is not taken care of...
