On my IG feed, I keep getting reels about how he has improved and how a few days before his wedding he flew down to Goa for a match and won his team the game.

Ranji?

He has a huge burden of expectations on him.

Did u like the beating by 15 year old?:laugh1:

Both the spinners are weak. Ghaznafar and Markande.

Arjun Tendulkar could have been a good partner for Bumrah. A good pace attack pairing. But they sold him to Lucknow.

He has the physique but the velocity does not come out :(

All I remember is the 31 runs over he conceded after a good game.

He is not atheletic. His run up loses a lot of power in the way he runs. Not efficient.

Arjun Tendulkar is the definition of nepotism in cricket and he's the most high profile nepo baby. The reason he's still playing cricket is thanks to his dad else he wouldn't have been able to get past school cricket. They initially called him a left arm pacer and he failed. Then the next narrative was that he was an all-rounder and he struggled to do anything and he wouldn't be able to bat higher than 9. Sundar is like Lara in front of him. Now the narrative is that he's a batter who has been "mishandled". Check out Yograj Singh's statements around Arjun Tendulkar.

The thing is that he's useless and won't be able to do much. Imagine him going up against Jaiswal and Sooryavanshi. He would go for 50 off 2 overs. He doesn't have any skills in batting or bowling and he's still hanging around like bad smell thanks to his dad. Unfortunate that he still has cricketing career while much more talented folks have been sidelined and struggle to make it to get the kind of chances Arjun Tendulkar has been gifted.

In spite of the loss it was good to see 15 year Vaibhav smack the hell out of seniors pacers like Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar. His brutal hitting in that Bumrah voer was sensational, treated him like cannon fodder. Deserved the win, that young bloke.

MI stands with 2 points after 3 matches, which in itself is a good start given the history. The next one against RCB is at Wankhede. Hopefull they dont have a kid who smashes our pacers to oblivion.

India internationls in MI are sucking big time. SKY is permanently done, Tilak is scratchy and Pandya is hit or miss. Bumrah is now more intersted in prolonging his International career. Rohit is 40 year old and out of sync with modern T20.

Then they have middling overseas players apart from Rickelton.

He played for MI and has been in IPL squads of MI and other teams. Other players with a similar skill level wouldn't even get a trial with IPL teams, forget about getting into the squad.

In 5 years on the :mi: rooster, he has started some 10 odd times. That shows be *doesn’t get special treatment*.

He is definitely good enough to qualify to play for :mi: senior squad. And bowl in the nets. Far better than Dhaval Kulkarni and many other imo.

The very fact he has been with MI shows he's a nepo baby. Nobody with that level of performance stays in the IPL squad for so long, and that too with MI. Dhawal Kulkarni was in a different league altogether compared to the sifarshi Tendulkar Jr. Dhawal Kulkarni performed well enough in domestic cricket to have played for India and he didn't do too badly there as well.

If he wasn't related to Tendulkar, Arjun Tendulkar wouldn't have gone past school cricket and wouldn't even be able to make it in domestic cricket. In fact the last time round, MI picked him after nobody else picked him up as a charity pick. Absolutely useless and making the most of his surname. You just have to match any other domestic league to see how many players would be ahead of Arjun Tendulkar if they were lucky enough to have a famous parent.

Don't worry folks. At least we won 1 out of first 3. We are more used to losing first 4 before we wake up. :wp12:
