ravishingravi Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 The more time one spends the more you realise that it's impossible to compete with this land on food. Just mind boggling variety. The only flipside I see is that local cuisine are dying and this is matter of concern. Another concern is health but gen z seems more conscious about it. Mariyam and BacktoCricaddict 1 1

Just mind boggling variety. Without a doubt. And highly underappreciated even within the nation. Also, the "cuisine gradients" that you can see as you travel from one region to the next is fascinating. For instance North Karnataka cuisine is a beautiful combo of Karnataka and Maharashtra cuisines. Kolhapuri flavors have clear Southie notes. I guess other regions of the world have their own variety but I can't imagine them being the same or better. Mariyam and ravishingravi 2

I'm hooked to Kripal Ammanas show, especially the episodes where he traveled in Dakshina Kannada finding little gems in Udupi, Manglooru etc. ravishingravi 1

Disadvantage is it's only good when it's pan fried. Advantage is it just has one bone. This fish is useless if you are cooking it in a curry. There are specific fish types for curry: Viraal meen Sankara meen Edited November 8, 2024 by Vicks57 Chaos 1
