Recently dined at Bastian garden city because of stupid insta influencer ( hyping it up ) reels caught my begums eye :((

ambience is good , food is good , but the prices are unnecessraily expensive .

attacked basic gins , they are far more expensive than 5star hotels .

their cocktails are more expsnive than copitas 4 seasons

@Mariyam @maniac  i am sure you are visiting bastian regulalry .. my questions is whether shilpa shetty persoanlly serve dishes to you guys ( considering how expensive they are ) ? :hmmm:

You been to Iran, tried Iranian restaurants? What about her relatives, they must have fed their damad.

Find the makeup from middle eastern people really obnoxious... nothing personal against Velu or anyone.

Even strangers fed me :icflove:

Food is very flavourful , rice based and more sour .

Iran is very very clean , squeaky clean . So we don't need to worry about eating food even in small restaurants .

Tehran is super cheap , maybe 1/5th the price of Bangalore

Having fuller lip is a current trend in Iran , Persians look different from Arabs .

Does she also work? How do you get by day to day if none of you are cooking? All of a sudden, the food thread has become a crisis thread :fear1:

We both usually take egg in the morning , boiled egg or Iranian egg cutlet ( egg + pulses ) .

We usually go out for early dinner in the evening .

She makes non-veg food sometimes . I am not comfortable touching raw meat , so I am ok if she don't cook non-veg at home

If they do ask you in american consulate whether you went there, you have to tell right. I don't think its a biggy my prev comment was just poking fun

How is it that you're fine with eating meat but don't touch raw meat :hmmm:I used to eat meat, touching raw meat for cooking (I'm a lousy cook BTW) but couldn't actually see an animal/bird slaughtered much less kill it myself :fear:

What pulse does she put in egg cutlet, rajma?

Nah.. normally less than 200... Has to be around 80-100 to be easily accessible to lower middle class and be part of staple diet.

Majority of non vegans in the country can't afford to have home made chicken for more than once a week.  These are terrible numbers & has led to protein deficiency in teenage males/females.

Red meat is otherworldly costly though.  Even upper middle class might be out of budget for that one at max once a week.

what area are marwaris from? Also to be fair … lower middle class people cant even afford to pay for the meat and living expenses… especially in cities. Sad. Also what curry is that in pic?

Yeah this diet is worse... My friend who had studied long time in Gujarat had terrible experience with their food.

I wasn't aware they eat Bhujia for Lunch and Dinner lol..

I always have a whole bowl of curd when eating veg food.  Absolute must when you try vegan stuff compensates for Protein and calcium.

Buttermilk sometimes with breakfast helps too.
