Areeee majority non vegetarians in the country are ones which eat meat once or twice week at best... That doesn't help at all.  Aise toh around 70% Indians are non vegetarians.

As long as you don't add meat or protein rich nutritious stuff into your STAPLE diet you cannot change or think to eliminate protein deficiency and malnutrition in the country.

Now the factor which mainly contributes towards 70% non vegetarians still not able to fulfill their protein requirements is that animal Protein is unfairly too costly in Vishwaguru land to be part of staple diet of even non vegetarians.

Except Gym bros who rely on supplements don't think overwhelming majority of non vegetarian get the required Protein and Fibre requirements fulfilled in this country.

As I said before Religious sentiments and Sickular beliefs are also major obstacles to push India towards a healthier and more nutritious balanced diet.

Even noble initiatives like adding Eggs into mid day meal food for Kids in MAH got put into cold storage coz of  these joke sentiments earlier on...

Can happen only in this land lol...

I see no appreciable difference between Indian and Pakistani Punjabis and none between Bengalis and Bangladeshis. So what gives as the meat consumption must be more in the muslim countries

Some schools in Kar have started to give eggs to children , I think it is a good start. Poor peoole are entitled to good protein nutrition.

Good to hear this...Kids are the building block for this society.  Malnourishment and protein deficiency can be eliminated at the beginning provided someone is willing to do this.

Don't think this puts much strain on Government as well.

Hopefully other states learn from Karnataka.

I think Pakistani Punjabis while may have marginally better diet but they are extremely poorer to afford meat as well.

Their HDI is around sub Saharan African level which is even worse than our Bihar.  So lower middle class there is struggling to afford even a cup of tea or common veggies than to worry about meat.

Only the rich can afford beef there....

Watched a Few videos of PTI's Pathan version of youthias beating up Punjabi army and police rather easily & they were taller and stronger than Punjabis.

Bangladeshis are in same boat but genetic and climatic factors ensure that as we move eastward the average height among Indian males decreases.

In the south Mallus tend to be Tallest I think.

Past examples you are giving are absolute shocking ones tbh... When it has been pretty much established that Indians didn't exactly used to fare that well when it came to foreign invasions & we were actually insanely richer than Chinese who also pretty much had similar experiences.

Also since it is a much warmer climate the demand and supply that you seem to imply on will never be on western level... Kashmir is a exception as long as you don't open a pork street food shop there to invite trouble.

So don't think there is a genuine threat of any environmental damage.

I already listed the reasons above why Pork and beef would never become mainstream in this country coz of religious sentiments.

Also I can assure you around 70% non vegetarians in the country would very much welcome if animal Protein (chicken/sheep/goat) is made cheaper in the country to make it a part of regular staple diet slowly to at least those ones who prefer it but can't due to prices - lower middle class mainly .

Didn't get your point about lifting weights completely your earlier assumption seemed different

If Indians and Chinese both suffered invasions, that proves my point, no? Chinese with their high meat intake didn't put more resistance than Indians. Also your argument  doesn't have nuances. Heavy protein intake doesn't mean high strength, which also doesn't mean high fighting ability. There are other factors in a war such as logistics, better weapons, bravery, coordination and communication among troops, alliances with neighboring kingdoms, unity in fighting a religious war (which we were not experienced with), reconnaisance, spying, etc. You seem to ignore all these things.

Beef is usually associated with the poor. Mutton with the rich. Your argument is coming off here when talking about bangladeshis and mallus. If bangladeshis are shorter because its near east india and bengalis are also there. That means its genetic, no? How is it related to eating meat? Mallus are not the tallest among south Indians. We are all about average height throughout the south. you got the impression because mallus are another heavy meat eating group.

Nope I am right... As per NFHS data Mallus tallest in South and Height decreases as we move eastward...

And yes beef is extremely costly in Pakistan.... Mostly donkey meat is eaten there as it is comparatively cheaper

If you want to prove yourself right, then go ahead :winky: 1.4 over 0.7, 0,2, 0.5. Bengal is also 0.2. So they are just as taller as Andhra. Go on, dig yourself a hole.

There is no hole here... I backed myself with data.. anyways I pointed towards Mallus being tallest in South and Eastern portion seeing decline... Must admit Odisha numbers are shocking...

You have dug yourself a hole there. You have data alright. You also have to interpret the data correctly. Percentage of 25 year olds who are over 6ft is not an accurate description of height among people. Even that percentage difference is marginal. What is 1.4 over 0.7. Not much.

Average height would be a more accurate figure. Even there if its not more than a couple of inches, its still the same. You either seem to be taking the piss or not very smart.

Have you seen their diet... Higher proportion of buttermilk curd and calorie intake.

Also Jats have steppe ancestry as well.

Ever seen these folks lifting weights... Not even Punjabis and Kashmiris can match them.

Bengal is fecked up,least vegetarian yet lacks height.

Genetic and climatic factors.... Biharis eat meat a lot at least once a week.  When it is made cheaper Biharis would be free of malnutrition...

You lack basic understanding skills.... This data is per population as well and as well as median age.. if you don't understand how much a difference it is among 1.4 and 0.7 than I can't help you

Going by your posts on height and meat correlation, your anecdote on jat origins and weight lifting is on shaky grounds
