Team Owner treats KL like a POS

While I have already condemned the owners behavior if it was actually a dressing down, KL Rahul has had enough feedback and criticism about his approach and that has been equally balanced with belief in his talent  which resulted in multiple opportunities. If he hasn’t changed already, he will never change his approach. Maybe that’s his upside. Time to move on.

this goenka guy tried the same treatment with thala for his slow batting ..

next game thala started his batting 3 dot balls

if KL has balls , he shld play couple more run a ball innings :bandit:

Goenka stripped Thala of captaincy and made Steve Smith captain.. Very likely that Pooran will captain next game

This is not even an India game. LSG game. Even thsoe who were not attached to LSG were pissed off at this horrendous innings.

Meant in the next IPL mega auctions.. swap Kohli with KLR. RCB's fate wont change

Hats off to Super Giants for showing kela his true place

Unlike BCCI which offers so many perks and facilities and huge amount of money instead to these loosers who don't care about winning, after surrendering on numerous occasions in the past

Why behind walls? This was most honest reaction by an owner

On repeat watching, the video looks like an intense discussion. We don't know for sure if it was public rebuking. But knowing Goenka, it probably was

I'm  not a fan of KL but there's got to be a code of conduct for franchise owners. BCCI has to weigh in and penalize such behavior. No player deserves such a treatment. Don't like a player, drop them, but you can't act this way in public.

True. Drop the player if you don't like.  This is ridiculous behaviour. He is playing there not the owner. Isn't he the same Goenka who dropped Dhongi and replaced Smith as captain in Pune Supergiants In 2016-17?

Lot of franchieese are happy with brand value even though they don't win anything. Some don't even have that. Their owners are more popular than the players.  Seems like Lucknow owner sets high expectations. Wonder if he was behind leaving of Gambhir as well who himself is a task master. It has to be somewhere in between. Owner cannot be too friendly with players either.
