Criteria: anyone who bowls between 120-175 clicks. Give me some names. Trust me I am not a fan of Bhuvaneshwar if you have followed me on this forum before. if god forbid Bumrah misses out in WT20, I would automatically replace him with Bhuvi as every bowling attack needs a leader. You can’t have 4 young rookies no matter how talented they are. Okay as you asked - Bowlers I trust over Bhuvaneswar (hate people sweetly calling this fraud as 'Bhuvi'): Siraj Mayank Yadav Unadkat Mohsin Natarajan Harshal Patel Shradul Thakur Tushar Deshpande Deepak Chahar Arshdeep Singh Avesh Khan Kartik Tyagi Umran Malik Mukesh Harshit Rana Lord, singhvivek141, Vijy and 1 other 3
Lord
1 minute ago, maniac said: Leader of the pack means a good example is Cummins: someone who is reliable in all 3 phases compared to others. Irfan could be trusted to bowl in all 3 phases but since the relative rookies were in good rhythm he bowled in the middle. It’s the glue that holds a bowling attack. Nah he was not an opening bowler at that point. Had lost his swing and pace. Point is he was 23, if he could do it, some of these young guys can too. Bhuvi himself can't bowl in death overs lol Vijy and singhvivek141

I may not agree on most names here but I respect your opinion that you feel all these are better bowlers than Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. vvvslaxman and Vijy

Harshit can be a reliable no 8 hitter, Mohsin & Deshpande too can tonk the ball a bit. Nattu is exceptional in death bowling, can swing the new ball as well. Strangering
Bhuvi has high, highs and uncontrollably low, lows. I think he struggles to execute plan B and plan C when he goes for runs. Edited May 9 by Strangering singhvivek141

I feel unfortunately he is still most reliable than every Shami, Siraj etc in this format. Shami maybe slightly ahead if he still has that World Cup form. however he is probably the only reliable guy in all phases of the game on a good day. will get hate for this but it is what it is. Isn’t it obvious? I agree. I'll take Bhuvi any day over the likes of Siraj, Avesh, and Arshdeep. Bhuvi is still one of the best going around in PP. The problem is he's no longer good at the death but in PP he's still right up there. I would've picked him for WT20 to partner Bumrah and asked him to bowl 3 overs upfront, and probably kept 1 for the middle overs. And used another seamer such as Nattu to bowl in the middel overs and at the death. Siraj, Avesh and Arshdeep have the potential to kill the match in PP itself. At least Bhuvi will keep a handle on things in the PP.
