just a techie, not a big wig to get systum to move

Should have jumped into the pool and tried swimming to safety instead of drowning himself along with the car. He just had to push his hands and legs to and fro for a little while as it's not too far from the wall.

Everyone tries everything to escape death in such situation. Maybe didn't know how to swim

As i said, such a densely populated land cannot afford the economic growth model of consumerism. Will end up turning India into a gaint Dharavi.

I believe soviet style development, where state spends large amounts of money on public goods and citizens get the standard TVS XL for commuting.

The problem is, if we don't grow, the same population will become a bane for us.

High workforce is only useful, when they have something to keep themselves engaged. Else, they'll be prone to protests and unruly civil behavior. The underworld era of Mumbai is a perfect example of that, when the Mills were shut down due to union protests, the workforce suddenly found themselves out of work. Most of them resorted to "bhaigiri" and extortion to feed off their families.

Best solution, is to send some of workforce elsewhere, not the high skilled ones but rather the semi skilled ones. Maybe to work in Construction industry of West Asia, or to oil wells in Russia or Australia, while they continue to send remittances to their families.

The population need to gradually decline, keeping number around 90-110 Crore is the optimum solution. Anything below or above that will be a problem. Biggest hurdle is "samuday vishesh", govt has to do something about them, they're the ones prone to loans by our western neighbour in the name of "jihad".

The soviet style is best.

  • Spend 95% of economic activity on public goods like rivers and parks and hospitals and defence.
  • 5% on consumerist goods like latest phones, automobiles, clothes and god knows what.

Soviets had best education, they tamed the islamic radicalism in lot of central asian republics, created surplus infrastracture which the republics are enjoying. I mean look at travel vlogs of lowly Kazgakastan. They have much better roads and parks. \

Country ruled by Shankaracharya's and the matha's. The autocratic supreme leader is state head and also the head of hindu faith.

Dharmic Communism!!!!

Even that is far too high. The value of human capital has declined and will decline massively and that's across the world .

Soviet system was fractured. Thats why USSR never became as rich as US. They were at par with US in 1950s..but by 1980s the gulf between them became too wide (despite of the fact that both USSR & US lost in Afg & vietnam respectively).

The consumer electronics, although a luxury is a key to ensure the country remains at par in tech with the rest of the world (unless you block the foreign exports). Else, the people will ditch them for the imported items.

Consumerism or Capitalism, its a necessary evil for an open society. Soviet style governance will work when your society is closed and controlled (like in China).

90-110 Crore is still a decent number. We aren't a tech giant yet, we are a human capital dominated society and thats where we need to stay.

Any decline under 80 Crore and we will become another Japan or South Korea which is struggling with old people.

India was governed by Mughals and Britishers in an autocratic fashion for centuries. Of course that was disastrous as they had no relation with son's of soil.

A hindu theocratic model is as connected as it gets. Of course, managing the diversity is a challenge. But atleast we will not get these opportunist, weak, stupid, spineless rent-a-mob politicians.

Don't UPSC people do any background checks in their final stage of selection, or interviews?

How are Burhan Wani and Pak jihadi complex supporters, people who threaten our sovereignty every day, passing these exams?

I have a VERY LOW expectation on this land. Hence I appreciate that they managed to catch the act of switching blood samples. :hatsoff::hatsoff::hatsoff:
