I didn't know this.  Not sure why idiots fall for that scamster.  Thought Riyan was a bit smarter than that.

Wow, I thought that guy's fan following was usually losers who dont get women and have nothing in life, I dont get how a famous, rich sportsperson will be attracted to that scumbag.

Forget Tate's low IQ takes. He has been in prison for human trafficking, rape, even a few charges of pedophilia are there. Lowest of lows any person can go, bottom barrel of humanity.

Anyway hope better sense prevails and Parag wisens up with age. Maybe he hangs out with the wrong crowd, impressionable age also. Some elder in his circle should guide him properly, many people on the wrong path in their teenage years and early/mid 20s go on to change for the better with age, hope Parag is one such guy.

If this is the same guy I’ve seen in the ipl for multiple years, I really don’t understand why he’s rated highly (seems that he is?!).

Always looked inconsistent with limited range and with some histrionics on the field. This is the guy who used to do that stupid dancing iirc? lol

Anyways haven't followed him in domestics. So let’s see.

The shot he played today while getting dismissed is simply unwatchable & inexcusable.  It was a nothing ball.  Yes, the pitch was poor but that shot execution was .  Looked like a tail ender.  Ugly/awkward stance with foot moving nowhere.   Glad that selectors didn't pick him for WT20.  (Some Windies pitches (like Guyana) are similar to today's pitch).

He is not a finished product yet.   Also happy that Abhishek Sharma wasn't selected. He is another hack with zero footwork.(Even worse than Dube)

Well Done Ajit Agarkar & Co.

One month ago, IPeeL sensation 'Pan Parag' had said "He won't watch any match of WT20".  Since then he has been busy posting tweet such as "Ananya Pandey hot; Sara Ali hot" :hysterical:No wonder he has himself become 'too hot' to bat.      Abe ghochu, Tere WT20 naa dekhne se kisiko ghanta farak nahi padta.   Tu apne batting pe focus kar.

One-two outing

And he's dropped today!

evidence of short slightness, rutu will never play at #4 in longterm but TM went with him at #4.

Parag should have played no.4 that's his natural position and some1 who can bowl as well.

They sent 4 openers to Zim and sent no reserve opener in WC t20 assuming Kolhi was 11th hour plan. If Rutu had to play because he was in form then he should have kept wkts. he is being keeping in domestic t20 league

He got only one chance in the first T20I, in the 2nd he didn't get the chance to bat and he's dropped.

Feel for him. As you rightly mentioned he's the no. 4 batsman but Rutu was played at the position when in the longer run Ruturaj will never be a middle order batsman, and Parag who is a middle order bat has to sit out to accommodate Ruturaj.

It's similar to Abhishek pushed down the order after scoring a 40 ball 100 so that Gill can stat-pad opening the innings and crawl to a 50 ball 66.

Gill should come down at 3

In the event when Abhishek is playing

In any case I have always wanted Gill at 3

Yup, Jaiswal and Abhishek should open. Then one of Gill, Ruturaj or Sai Sudarshan should come in at 3. Only one of those can fit into the playing XI based on their playing style. But pushing down Abhishek is akin to Aus pushing down Head to accommodate Steve Smith as opener. It makes no sense.

Sorry I used to support him, but this fcker doesn't deserve it after seeing this post. Should be a decent human before being a decent cricketer.

Abhishek who scored a century was played at no 3 for Gill and Jaiswal who are almost new to international cricket. Gill should have played at no 3.

Jaiswal,Gill,Abhishek,Ruturaj ,all are openers.Didn't expect Agarkar to select ,such a lopsided squad.

Only no 4 batsman Parag who can also bowl is dropped for accommodating Ruturaj who is opener .

There is no planning from the selector and team management.

I'm sorry but the coach (VVS) should've stepped in and forced Gill to play Abhishek as opener and Gill to bat at 3. That was a clear case of "conflict of interest" and TBH what's the point of a coach if he doesn't lean in here.

You had a youngster playing his 3rd match being set up to fail after playing a match-winning knock the previous game! If anyone deserved to open it was Abhishek and not Gill. And Gill stat-padded his way to a 50 ball 66. Had Abhishek played the same no. of deliveries he would've been closer to 120 than 60 odd which Gill scored.

Batsmen can be tested at different positions and could succeed even more. Too many examples of it

These are all young guys who have a position tagged to them b/c of IPL needs. I'm sure each one of them would take any spot he can get on the Indian team.
