Nah, they are not sworn enemies. Modi meeting Sharad Pawar is more apt. Pawar resembles Hector more and more by the day.

But Pawar is still pretty powerful and resourceful unlike LKA...  Hector was pretty much the same.  Once all powerful & Gustavo took everything from him...

Best to keep AmitShah out of govt

Exactly. This is what I have been saying. Amit Shah should not be in the government. He should go back to the party. As it is, he is still proxy leading the party with just figurehead leader as Nadda. It is better if Shah is kept out of the government. Otherwise, general public is getting a little disillusioned by this Gujarati domination in politics and business. Modi + Shah +  Adani + Ambani.

Also, with Shah as HM, it means that the other cabinet ministers will have no space to work independently. He will interfere with everything.

I think Shivraj Singh Chouhan should be given the second most important ministry like Home. Rajnath IMO should also be left out. He has no personal charisma and is not exactly an inspirational leader. He doesn't have much support even in his home state. I would rather bring in younger people in the government  to groom some new BJP talent for leadership positions.

Jaishankar should continue as FM. Gadkari should be given a better portfolio like defense.

Yet, the general public is fine with dynasty leaders, generations of the same family?

So don't go by this hyped resentment against so called Gujarati domination? The reality is these are self-made people, and there is lots of jealously associated.

Well they did vote for many of the dynasts. RaGa won both his seats, UT Sena won more seats than Shinde Sena and DMK swept TN. So they seem to be okay with it. Not my opinion,  but this is based on voting patterns. Gujarat only provides 26 seats in the Lok Sabha, yet the two most high profile portfolios go to Gujaratis (PM, HM) along with the two most prominent businessmen who opposition keeps alleging are in cohorts with these two leaders. It is important for Modi to battle this perception and allow leaders from other states to get prominent portfolios.

This perception as you say was not the reason for the relative setback. Infact I am not even sure if this perception actually exists.

Good bet to invest in Andhra now?

Their capital Amravati or other investments in the state.

What would you say?

Good for real estate developers, who can now sell property at inflated rates to eager individual investors and make a quick buck But for the buyers, who will be buying at frothy levels, it is questionable if they will be able to resell for good profits. CBN is old and cannot be expected to last for two terms.

I heard his son. And to be very honest I was impressed.

Looks like same cabinet expect Jai Shankar and Amit Shah

Yeah pretty much the same plus coalition partners. I think he has limited room this time to move things. Disappointed with lack of women.

Looks like Chirag will will be brought in to ease life for Nitish.
