Re-watched it, this time the Telugu version. Dialogues are better or makes sense. Hindi dialogue seems to be google/AI translated, has no soul.

There are many historical fiction movies - Inglorious Bastards. Even in our literature, there are many books written on alternate versions of Mahabharata. Nothing wrong there.
